Measurement
Over the years, we have been involved in the development and adaptation of multiple psychometric measures in a variety of languages. Some of these measures have been specifically developed for the work context, other for more developmental/educational contexts, other for the sport and exercise context, a few of them are more clinical in nature, and many have been specifically developed for youth with intellectual disabilities.
The content of most of these measures is available in the publications presenting their development, adaptation and/or validation (all available on the Publication page of this website), unless otherwise noted in the publication. The use of all of these measures is free of charge for research or practice, and there is no needed to contact us to obtain our approval. Nevertheless, we would appreciate if you could inform us in case you plan to translate or adapt some of these measures to other languages, contexts, or populations. This will help us to keep potential users informed of the availability of other versions of our questionnaires.
For some measures, we were not able to publish the full content (because of copyrighted contents or lack of space). To access these questionnaires, just contact us ([email protected] or [email protected]).
As a more generic statement, we want to reinforce that the development of most questionnaires routinely used in our field of research is supported by public governmental funding, and our own efforts are supported by our publicly funded University salary. For these reasons, it is our view that the result of these efforts, and the questionnaires themselves, should be available free of charge to users.
