Ann-Renée Blais: Statistics Canada
Ann-Renée Blais received her Ph.D. in quantitative psychology with an interdisciplinary specialization in economic and behavioral decision analysis from The Ohio State University in 2001. After completing post-doctoral work in behavioral economics, she began her career at the Department of National Defence where she remained for almost 20 years. In 2020, Ann-Renée moved to Statistics Canada and is now their Chief Organizational Health. Ann-Renée was a part-time sessional instructor at both York University and Ryerson University for several years and is currently teaching at the Royal Military College of Canada. She recently obtained a graduate certificate in public policy and program evaluation at Carleton University, and her research interests now focus on organizational health, particularly the design and implementation of workplace interventions to improve employee well-being.
